IKEA Living

IKEA Living

This photo from Swedish design house IKEA incorporates daydream-worthy comfort into an earthy palette. I personally love some greenery indoors, although unfortunately my green thumbs never developed. You may argue with my tagging of IKEA as a design house, but I stand my ground. As is evident in IKEA showrooms, catalogues, and website galleries, IKEA has a wide range of styles that can construct areas suited to a variety of locales, from primary school play areas to high-class waiting rooms. They make interesting design and custom solutions accessible to normal people such as myself. IKEA fostered my young love of interior design and will forever hold a place in my heart.

Peacock colours

Peacock colours

This Fenton&Fenton image blends together many colours artfully. It can be difficult knowing what colours work together and how many is too many, but an easy solution is taking a leaf from nature (yes, I intended that pun). The colours of the beautiful male peacock attempting to seduce a female peacock have inspired this bedroom decor. Did these colours seduce you?
